yesterday i lost my voice. almost resorted to sign language.

today i almost lost my own life. went to see the Doctor AGAIN and oh well thank you Dr for giving me the third dose of antibiotics after my recent Augmentin and Amoxicillin in less than a month.

its URTI again but im starting to doubt.

after consuming Salbutamol, i went out and happily started my medication round and within half an hour, i could feel and hear my hear rate racing and blood gushing to my brain. am i anxious? NO. did i exercise? NO! i immediately hooked my finger to the pulse-oximeter machine and oh my 'tian' 130 beats/min and once it went up to 150 beats/min plus some slight chest discomfort! that almost freak the hell out of me. im so not prepared to face death. i was telling myself: if my heart collapses, let it be in the ward with the emergency trolley near by.

excused myself and visited the Dr downstairs again. instructed me to stop the Salbutamol and monitor my condition in which it should subside in a couple of hours. yes, i could die of Tachycardia which can be harmful in 3 ways. Firstly, if the heart is pumping too fast for an extended period of time it will change the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the hemoglobin in the blood; this is normal during exercise but when resting this is quite dangerous. Second, when the heart beats too rapidly, it may pump blood less efficiently. Thirdly, the faster the heart beats, the more oxygen and nutrients the heart requires. This may leave patients feeling out of breath or cause angina.

NO! now its not the time to depart from the human world...
