Plan for today was to leave Delhi to Agra to discuss health-related subjects, such as health and development, appropriate diet and nutrition, physical activity, environment conservation, tobacco and alcohol avoidance, healthy gender relations and promotion of peace and non-violence during the GYM.

Before that, all the delegates were requested to attend the Inaugural Ceremony at the National Stadium with other 10,000 other Youth in the morning. Prime Minister of India would be the Guest of Honor. The dance performances were WOW-Incredible Bollywood! Hated those cameras and live-filming which kept shooting at our direction gosh and probably that’s the reason why the media managed to track me down and asked for an interview with me.

Here’s the best normal lunch (meats!) I ever had during my stay in India-it was lunch in Delhi at India International Center hosted by the Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi.

After eating and making sure that we would be boarding the right bus number down to Agra, it was already 4pm. Time to bid farewell to our 2 wonderful facilitators in Delhi.

Oh boy the ride was damn long! It took us another 4-5hours before reaching Jaypee Palace Hotel. 9pm came and our buses started to drive into the hotel’s compound. Crap! It’s really god damn a palace! Sights of cute camels and horses and the sound of drums greeted us as we got down from the bus and once we started to enter into the hotel, they would throw flowers at us, ‘anoint’ each of our foreheads w
ith a red ink/liquid? and lastly a flower worn around our necks.

The exciting part was we were told that they would be pairing all of us up from different countries as room-mates. I’m blessed to have Neranja from Sri Lanka to be staying with me in room 3406. Pity the girl as I tortured her with my ‘must on the lights’ rules when I sleep at night.
